Well before the Army’s ongoing transition to Agile software development, U.S. Army Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Systems’ (PEO EIS) Global Combat Support System – Army (GCSS-Army) product office saw a need to shorten the software testing timeline.   

U.S. Army Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Systems' (PEO EIS) Global Combat Support System – Army (GCSS-Army) completed the fielding of its Enterprise Aviation (EAVN) solution to more than 3,300 Army users worldwide at the end of September 2023.

PEO EIS’ Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) has achieved another major milestone in the advancement of its innovative Advanced Manufacturing Data Repository capability.

Erik Scott assumed leadership of the Global Combat Support System – Army (GCSS-Army) product office, part of PEO EIS’ Defense Integrated Business Systems (DIBS) portfolio, at an Aug. 17 assumption of charter ceremony at Fort Lee, Virginia.

As part of the Army’s ongoing effort to modernize and enhance the service’s readiness, it is currently upgrading one of its most pivotal communication and logistics processes — the Total Asset Visibility (TAV) In-transit Processing Station – Write (TIPS-Write) software platform.  

PEO EIS’s Automated Movement and Identification Solutions (AMIS) product office — which provides web-based solutions that coordinate and track materiel and equipment for the U.S. Army — has announced several program enhancements designed to simplify logistical planning for unit deployments and provide significant time and cost savings.

A year to the day after the Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) migrated from PEO EIS’s data portfolio to its enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems portfolio, the Global Combat Support System – Army (GCSS-Army) product office did the same — joining the Defense Integrated Business Systems (DIBS) family on Oct. 1.

On Aug. 31, PEO EIS's Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) completed its implementation of the Additive Manufacturing Digital Thread (AM DT) solution for the Army.
