Army Vantage is a comprehensive data management platform designed to integrate data from new and legacy systems in any form and at any scale. The program enables the Army to “see itself” by providing senior leaders, Soldiers, staff and analytic communities with a common, integrated data platform to visualize and analyze the current and predicted future state(s) of the Army.
AMIS has a diverse mission to support the U.S. Army, Department of Defense (DOD), federal agencies, North Atlantic Treaty Organization and several coalition partners. AMIS consists of DOD civil servants, Soldiers and contractors, providing functional, technical, engineering and management expertise. AMIS was established in September 2012 with the merging of two existing programs, Joint – Automatic Identification Technology and Transportation Information Systems. AMIS stands ready to assist customers large and small to develop and automate their business processes.
GCSS-Army is one program consisting of two components: Army Enterprise Systems Integration Program that provides the system’s enterprise hub services and centralized master data management capabilities and the GCSS-Army (ERP Solution) which provides functional services to the business enterprise and Warfighting mission areas focused on Property Book, Supply Operations, Tactical Maintenance, Logistics Management and associated tactical finance functionality and serves as the tactical financial system of record for the Army.
Product Lead Logistics Information Systems (PL LIS) provides Defense Business System acquisition lifecycle management of its two assigned legacy LIS. They are the Standard Army Ammunition System (SAAS) and the Unit Level Logistics System-Aviation (Enhanced) (ULLS-A(E)). Both are in the Capability Support Phase of their acquisition lifecycle. These automated management systems support tactical ammunition supply operations and aviation maintenance operations performed by tactical units operating in deployed areas and in garrison.
The LMP is an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System that builds, sustains, and generates warfighting capabilities using one of the largest, fully-integrated supply chain and maintenance, repair, and overhaul solutions in the world. In all, the LMP sustains, monitors, measures, and improves the National-level logistics Production baseline, delivers new and expanded capabilities, and supports Department of Defense (DoD) and Army ERP integration efforts.
