Happy New Year! Wishing everyone a healthy, meaningful and rewarding 2022. As in past years, I’d like to reflect on some of our achievements from 2021 and take a look at what’s ahead this year for PEO EIS.

Last month, leaders and teammates from across our portfolio participated in the annual AFCEA Belvoir Industry Days (ABID) event at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland.

The month of November kicks off fast and furious at EIS with our portfolio-wide participation in AFCEA Belvoir Industry Days (ABID).

Following AFCEA TechNet in August, our attendance at “A”-list events continues this month with AUSA 2021 — the Association of the United States Army’s annual meeting and exposition, taking place Oct. 11-13 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C.

Before delving into recent and upcoming PEO EIS developments, I’d like to share our sympathies with the families and friends of those who lost their lives in the recent terrorist attacks in Kabul, Afghanistan.

Following a busy month of charter ceremonies, we now have a brief hiatus until the end of August and early fall, when a few more organizational and leadership changes take place at PEO EIS.

July promises to be another transformational month at PEO EIS as our Army Training Information System (ATIS) product office migrates from our Defense Integrated Business Systems (DIBS) portfolio to our Army Data and Analytics Platforms (ARDAP) portfolio, and as our change of charter season continues apace!

Summer is always an “eventful” time at PEO EIS — full of charter ceremonies, retirement ceremonies and other events.

“Perseverance and spirit have done wonders in all ages.” George Washington’s words to Maj. Gen. Philip Schuyler in 1775 still ring true today as we deal with times of uncertainty, particularly on the budget front.

Spring has officially arrived — the season of new beginnings and budding opportunities. Here at PEO EIS, we’re immersed in our ongoing migration to Microsoft Office 365 (O365), part of the Army’s broader O365 rollout.
