U.S. Army Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS) officially shut down its Headquarters Army Environmental System (HQAES) product office Jan. 13, transferring the Army’s environmental program data to the Web Compliance Assessment and Sustainment System-Enterprise (WEBCASS-E) at the Deputy Chief of Staff (DCS), G-9. WEBCASS-E, a commercial off-the-shelf system used by the Army for over 20 years, will serve as the replacement program and the Army’s enterprise system of record for environmental data. 

U.S. Army Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Systems is working closely with the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army for Data, Engineering and Software on the initial version of its Unified Data Reference Architecture, which aims to establish the Army’s enterprise mesh services.

Col. Rob Wolfe, project manager for PEO EIS’ Army Data and Analytics Platforms project office, welcomed Lt. Col. Laura-Jane (LJ) Freeland as product manager (PdM) for the new Army Data Platform (ADP) product office at an assumption of charter ceremony held May 19.

Over the past 12 months, Army Vantage and the U.S. Army Forces Command (FORSCOM) have undertaken a project to modernize the command’s aviation readiness reporting and the management of its Flying Hour Program (FHP).

PEO EIS leaders took part May 9-10 in the eighth network-related technical exchange meeting (TEM 8) hosted by the Network Cross-Functional Team and Program Executive Office Command, Control and Communications – Tactical (PEO C3T) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

PEO EIS’s Army Vantage program is playing a pivotal role in helping military leaders gain accurate insight into Soldier immunization rates against COVID-19, as well as the Army’s COVID-19 vaccine inventory worldwide.

PEO EIS’s Global Force Information Management (GFIM) product office — tasked with developing a platform that integrates force structure, readiness, mobilization and requirements validation to meet service and Global Force Management requirements — is kicking off agile capability development sprints this month for two Phase 1 prototypes awarded in August.

In collaboration with the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) and U.S. Northern Command (USNORTHCOM), as well as all 11 U.S. combatant commands, the Army recently supported the third iteration of the Global Information Dominance Experiment (GIDE 3) by demonstrating interoperability between Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Systems’ (PEO EIS) Army Vantage program and data feeds from each service and combatant command.
