PEO EIS’s Global Combat Support System – Army (GCSS-Army) program successfully obtained limited deployment (LD) authority to proceed (ATP) for Increment (INC) 2, Wave 1, Enterprise Aviation (EAVN) from Program Executive Officer Ross Guckert on June 9.

On Aug. 8, PEO EIS’s Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) became the third Army enterprise resource planning (ERP) program to complete its data and operations migration to the cloud.

The Logistics Modernization Program’s (LMP) additive manufacturing digital thread (AM DT) capability supports the Secretary of the Army’s advanced manufacturing initiative to improve tactical and operational readiness, and enhance warfighting capabilities through the use of “advanced” processes and materials.

On Jan. 13, PEO EIS’s Global Combat Support System – Army (GCSS-Army) program received official authority to proceed with releasing its next round of capabilities to approximately 1,000 users to better manage Army Prepositioned Stock (APS). GCSS-Army provides functional services to the business enterprise and warfighting mission areas focused on property book, supply operations, tactical maintenance, logistics management and associated tactical finance functionality, serving as the tactical financial system of record for the Army.

PEO EIS’s Logistics Information Systems (LIS) product office — part of the Army Data and Analytics Platforms (ARDAP) portfolio — recently collaborated with the Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Enterprise Systems and Services (ALTESS) product office — part of PEO EIS’s Enterprise Services portfolio — to migrate the Standard Army Ammunition System (SAAS) production environment to the ALTESS data center.

The need to provide Soldiers with the best in asset tracking and management technology is of the utmost importance to Program Executive Office, Enterprise Information Systems’ (PEO EIS) Product Lead Automated Movement and Identification Solutions (PL AMIS).

JT Craft, product lead for the Global Force Information Management (GFIM) program, manages an effort that will automate the Army’s core deploy-to-redeploy and retrograde (D2RR) business processes.

Five former program executive officers for PEO EIS joined current program executive officer Ross Guckert and other Army leaders August 27 to celebrate the retirement of Logistics Information Systems (LIS) product lead Ricky Daniels and to welcome James O. Winbush Jr. as the new LIS product lead.
