Cedric Sherard assumed the role of acting product lead for Logistics Information Systems within PEO Enterprise's Army Data and Analytics Platforms portfolio in April 2025.

In this role, he leads a multidisciplinary team of civilian, military and contractor personnel in providing post-deployment capability support for automated military/civil transportation visibility and tactical ammunition supply and property management solutions for the Army.

Prior to assuming that role, Sherard served as the deputy product lead for the Accessions Information Environment, which is part of PEO Enterprise’s Integrated Personnel and Pay System - Army portfolio. He also has held positions as assistant program manager with PEO Enterprise’s Global Combat Support System – Army and with the PEO’s former Defensive Cyber Operations portfolio and Cyber Platforms and Systems program, where he managed the Counter Mobility/Incident Handling program.

Sherard joined the Army Acquisition Corps in 2012, initially serving as the assistant program manager for Petroleum and Water for PEO Combat Support & Combat Service Support at Detroit Arsenal.

He enlisted in the Army in July 1994 and was later commissioned as a second lieutenant in the Army Transportation Corps. His previous assignments included commander and movement control officer, 80th Transportation Detachment, 2001; platoon leader and executive officer, 418th Transportation Company, 2002; assistant operations officer, 419th Transportation Battalion, 2004; company commander, 651st Regional Support Group, 2007; observer controller, 78th Training Division, 2010; and secretary of the general staff for the 78th Training Division, 2011.

Sherard holds a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Lincoln University in Lincoln, Pennsylvania. He also earned a Master of Business Administration in transportation and logistics from American Military University in Charles Town, West Virginia.

Sherard attended the United States Army Command and General Staff College in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. He holds an advanced Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act certification in Program Management and a practitioner-level certification in Information Technology. Additionally, he holds a National Defense University certificate in IT program management.
