By this summer, the first Army civilian to participate in PEO EIS’s Enhanced Command Preparation (ECP) program —organized in collaboration with the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics and Technology (ASA(ALT)) —will graduate and assume command of a project management office (PMO) at EIS.

PEO EIS's Integrated Personnel and Pay System - Army (IPPS-A) hit another major milestone in the implementation of the Army’s revolutionary human resources (HR), pay and talent management system.

“I was excited to go, because I wanted to learn how the Army is developing government civilians to be leaders for organizations,” the 10-year ES veteran said. “It gave me an opportunity to work with other organizations outside of my own, and see how their leaders apply their leadership styles with their respective teams.”
