On Nov. 29, 2016, Ms. Terry Watson, Acting Program Executive Officer Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS), will officially relinquish the PEO EIS charter to BG Patrick W. Burden, Deputy PEO Ammunition and Senior Commander Picatinny Arsenal, in a Change of Charter ceremony on Fort Belvoir, Virginia. The ceremony will be hosted by Principal Deputy to the Assistant Secretary of the Army (Acquisition, Logistics and Technology) Ms. Steffanie Easter.

On 12 October 2016, Woodbridge Senior High School (Woodbridge, VA) Army Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) Cadet (CDT) Karen Ordonez shadowed Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) Assistant Product Manager (APdM) CPT Maureen Minder to learn more about the role Army Acquisition Officers play in supporting Soldiers worldwide.

The Defense Acquisition University (DAU) is endorsing the Reserve Component Automation Systems (RCAS) Agile Solution Factory (ASF) as an experience-based best practice across the DoD including the Army, Air Force, Navy and Marine Corps.

New Orleans, LA – Members of the RCAS team had the opportunity to meet face-to-face with Soldiers and personnel from the Army and Air National Guard across the 54 States and Territories who attended the EANGUS Conference.

The Product Lead for Enterprise Computing (PL EC) announced that it will host a workshop from 0800-0900 on 3 August 2016 at the AFCEA TechNet Augusta 2016conference. The workshop will cover two of PL EC’s initiatives: Army Application Migration and the Army Enterprise Service Desk (AESD).

Mr. Dennis J. Lujan was introduced as the new Reserve Component Automation Systems (RCAS) Product Lead (PL), during an Assumption of Charter ceremony hosted by the Project Manager, Installation Information Infrastructure Communications and Capabilities (I3C2), Mr. Michael Padden on July 11, 2016, at Fort Belvoir, Virginia.

On June 17, 2016, Sergio Alvarez was named Product Lead (PL) for Enterprise Content Collaboration and Messaging (EC2M) during a ceremony held at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. The ceremony was hosted by Thomas Neff, Project Director for Enterprise Services (PD ES). Mr. Alvarez received the charter from outgoing PL John Howell.

The Computer Hardware, Enterprise Software and Solutions (CHESS) team bid farewell to Ms. Sammi Foong on June 9, 2016, at Burton’s Grill in Alexandria, VA. Mr. Tom Neff, Project Director for Enterprise Services and former Product Lead (PL) of CHESS, awarded a director’s coin and meritorious plaque to Ms. Foong for her dedicated service to CHESS.
