On May 13, 2016, in a dual Change of Charter ceremony, Mr. Thomas Neff was officially named the Project Director, Enterprise Services (PD ES), a project office within the Army’s Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS). Additionally, Mr. Dennis Kelly, who officially started in his role on April 3, 2016, formally received the charter as the Product Lead for Enterprise Computing (EC) within the PD ES organization.

Enterprise Computing and the US Army Contracting Command (ACC) - Rock Island (ACC-RI) have issued the draft Army Cloud Computing Enterprise Transformation (ACCENT) request for proposal (RFP). The draft RFP is for commercial cloud solutions for eligible Army enterprise applications in support of the ACCENT program and was issued to reach out to industry for questions and comments.

On July 29, the Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS) Product Director, Enterprise Computing (PD EC), hosted 129 industry and government representatives at an Army Cloud Hosting Contract Vehicle (CHCV) Industry Day at Fort Belvoir.

On July 29, the Product Director, Enterprise Computing (PD EC) will host an Army Cloud Hosting Contract Vehicle (CHCV) Industry Day at Fort Belvoir. Program presentations include the Department of Defense Chief Information Officer on Cloud Policy, Army CIO/G6 on Army Cloud Strategy, and PD EC’s overview of the CHCV approach.

PEO EIS conducted a CHESS Industry Day event June 10 in Wallace Theater, Fort Belvoir, Va. Over 500 attendees participated in this event that includes an audience comprised of DA civilians, military, contractors and private industry. Army Contracting Command – Rock Island (ACC-RI) personnel were present to brief on upcoming contracts.

Mr. Jeremy Hiers, Project Director, Enterprise Services (PD ES), was the keynote speaker at the AFCEA Belvoir Chapter’s monthly luncheon at the Fort Belvoir Officer’s Club, 1130-1300.

The ordering period for the Computer Hardware, Enterprise Software and Solutions (CHESS) Information Technology Enterprise Solutions (ITES)–2S contracts has been extended by 36 months.

John Howell, Product Director for Enterprise Content Collaboration and Messaging (PD EC2M) presented an overview on Project Director Enterprise Services/PD EC2M’s current focus, including upcoming activities with Unified Capabilities (UC) and Army Knowledge Online (AKO) at the February AFCEA Fort Belvoir small business networking session.

On October 28, Project Director Tom Neff, Computer Hardware Enterprise Software and Solutions (CHESS), presented an ITES-3S program update at the AFCEA Belvoir Matchmaking Event. The AFCEA Belvoir Matchmaking Event gives small businesses the opportunity to network with contract primes. Over 200 industry personnel and 21 companies were in attendance.
