  1. ATIS Prototype Contract Awarded

    The U.S. Army recently announced the award of three competitive prototype contracts as a risk reduction measure and technology demonstration for the Army Training Information System (ATIS) project. The awards are firm fixed price, via Other Transaction Agreements, and administered through the C5 Consortium Management Group. Each agreement is a 12-month Period of Performance.
  2. MC4 Collaborates with Cyber Battle Lab for CSS VSAT Convergence

    Medical Communications for Combat Casualty Care (MC4) engineers collaborated with the Fort Gordon Cyber Battle Lab in the Combat Service Support (CSS) Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT) Transport Convergence Focused Assessment from Nov. 28 through Dec. 15, 2017. In support of Cyber Command Battle Lab and Army Capability Integration Center, Defense Communications and Army Transmission Systems, Defense–Wide Transmission Systems, MC4 and Global Combat Support System – Army conducted a feasibility assessment to replace CSS-VSAT commercial teleport backbone facilities with Army Enterprise Gateways.
  3. RCAS Trains at Fort Belvoir

    During the last week of September 2017, the RCAS training team supported a classroom event at the D.C. Army National Guard (ARNG) 260th Regional Training Institute on Fort Belvoir, Virginia.
  4. IPPS-A Facebook Town Hall Spreads the Word

    On Aug. 3, Integrated Personnel and Pay System – Army (IPPS-A) held its first virtual Facebook Town Hall. The Town Hall provided an opportunity for IPPS-A’s stakeholders to ask leadership any and all questions they had about the system.
  5. Team AHRS to the Rescue

    Army Human Resources Systems (AHRS) provided a local church and shelter within the Baytown, Texas, and Orlando, Florida, areas with donated supplies in support of relief efforts for families displaced by Hurricanes Harvey and Irma.

    The Defense Acquisition University (DAU) is endorsing the Reserve Component Automation Systems (RCAS) Agile Solution Factory (ASF) as an experience-based best practice across the DoD including the Army, Air Force, Navy and Marine Corps.
