On October 1, 2018, Project Manager (PM) Installation Information Infrastructure Communications (I3C2) bid farewell to Fiscal Year (FY) 18 with a year-end toast. PM Col. Chad Harris celebrated FY18 by recognizing the Budget and Acquisition staff who helped execute I3C2’s $225 million budget. In FY19, the acquisition and budget teams will continue to execute challenging tasks. The PM has prioritized the implementation of agile acquisition strategies to deliver defensive cyber capabilities at the speed of relevance. One acquisition tactic includes the use of Other Transaction Authorities (OTAs). OTAs drastically reduce acquisition timelines, which will enable I3C2 to rapidly deliver cyber prototypes to Cyber Protection Teams. More information about OTAs and other acquisition opportunities will be released to the PEO EIS Business Opportunities page.
