CALL FOR NOMINATIONS FOR 2020 ARMY ACQUISITION EXECUTIVE’S EXCELLENCE IN LEADERSHIP AWARDS

The Army Director, Acquisition Career Management (DACM) is pleased to announce the call for nominations for the 2020 Army Acquisition Executive’s (AAE) Excellence in Leadership Awards. The Army Acquisition Workforce is filled with many impressive people—individuals and teams who toil away to develop new systems and products for the warfighters or identify new ways to get those systems funded and fielded. The 2020 AAE’s Excellence in Leadership Awards is the chance to spotlight their work. The awards honor individuals and teams whose outstanding contributions and achievements merit special recognition. Awards are presented in eight (8) individual categories and two (2) team categories. The internal PEO EIS deadline for submitting nominations is July 15, 2020. All nominations must be sent to the HRD Office. ACQUISITION WRITING COMPETITION EMPOWERS WORKFORCE, DRIVES DIALOGUE

The Principal Military Deputy to the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics and Technology (ASA(ALT)), Lt. Gen. Bob Marion, announced the start of the annual Maj. Gen. Harold J. “Harry” Greene Awards for Acquisition Writing competition, which invites individuals to candidly write about their insights, experiences, and ideas focused on Army acquisition.

PROJECT INCLUSION TO CUT BOARD PHOTOS IN HOLISTIC EFFORT TO PROMOTE DIVERSITY
