Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS), Applied Cyber Technologies (ACT) is pleased to announce the next in a series of CYBER TALKS. The intended audience is government personnel, contractors, SOSSEC Consortium Members, and industry vendors and academia and those interested in working with U.S. Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER) and the Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) in the cyber domain. This event gives participants the opportunity to collaborate with U.S. Army cyber leaders though interactive engagement and discussion on topics directly related to better understanding DCO and the cyberspace mission.
PREREGISTRATION IS NOT REQUIRED. HOWEVER, EACH PARTICIPANT IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT THEIR NAME AND COMPANY AFFILIATION ON ENTERING THE WEBEX. FAILURE TO DO SO MAY RESULT IN BEING DROPPED FROM THE CYBER TALK.

Event Description:
The Army’s Cyber Operations Broad Response Agreement (COBRA) Other Transaction Authority (OTA) is now on its second-year use of the VULCAN PLATFORM in support of COBRA Tech Scouting announcements and responses.
Learn more about the benefits of Vulcan in support of Tech Scouting across numerous US Government Agencies including the sponsoring organization USSOCOM and other DOD PM Offices such as Defense Cyber Operations (DCO). Learn how your capabilities (via Vulcan Scout Cards) get broadcast to DCO as well as USG organizations across the Vulcan ecosystem.
This session has been developed so that each registered user has the information they need to leverage the VULCAN PLATFORM and ensure that their submissions are successfully delivered broadly or in response to SOSSEC Announcements.
The purpose of this Cyber Talk is to provide the COBRA community with simple and basic steps in the use of the Vulcan Platform. This live Webex Vulcan demonstration and discussion will cover: Tech Scouting, Portal UX, registration and role-based access, Government calls and deadlines, Scout Card submissions and attachments, Industry Capability and visibility to Government beyond DCO, submission confirmations and management, and technical support.
The two-hour session will include the overview and live instruction and allow for questions and answers.
Who Should Attend?
The intended audience is: Program managers, development teams, DoDIN-A analysts, DCO analysts, Intel analysts, data owners, data scientists, engineers, architects, and system administrators who are eager to learn about how you can leverage current technology to manage the exponential growth of data repositories. This event is intended to educate all professionals who are involved with any facet of data management including, security, policies, analysis, and infrastructure technologies. This event is intended to educate all professionals who are involved with the cyber security network defense across people, policies and technologies.
