Ms. Nancy Richardson

Ms. Richardson assumed the role of Product Lead (PdL) AESIP Hub in June 2018. As PdL, she is responsible for the cost, schedule and performance of the AESIP Hub working closely with the PM AESIP CIO, on improving the enterprise solution for the Warfighter. Ms. Richardson served as the Deputy Product Lead (DPL), Automated Movement and Identification Solutions (AMIS) from April 2016 to June 2018. She oversaw daily program operations to ensure efficient premier automated transportation and identification information technology solutions in support of the Soldier.

Prior to her assignment as Deputy, AMIS, Ms. Richardson served as an Acquisition Management Specialist within the Program Management Directorate (PMD) of Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS). She provided acquisition management support to programs within PEO EIS and coordinated activities with Headquarters Department of the Army, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Joint Staff and other agencies. Prior to joining PEO EIS, she served from 2012-2014 as the Product Support Manager for the Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI), an Acquisition Category (ACAT) IAM Major Automated Information System (MAIS) program whose objective is to provide a single source for enterprise-wide financial visibility.

Ms. Richardson began her federal service as a Biomedical Engineer with the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) in 1991 responsible for providing project management services to DOD medical treatment facilities worldwide in support of acquisition, implementation and sustainment of high-tech capital investment medical equipment. From 1996-2008, she served as the DLA Forward Customer Liaison to the DOD medical logistics field activities at Ft. Detrick, Maryland. In this role she facilitated daily interaction between DLA and the customer base on a broad range of operational and strategic issues across the medical supply chain including pharmaceuticals, consumable supplies and equipment. In 2008, Ms. Richardson established and led a permanent DLA Forward Support Cell within the Defense Medical Logistics Center, Ft. Detrick dedicated to enabling efficient and effective solutions across the medical supply chain acquisition, distribution and inventory management spectrum. From 2010-2012, Ms. Richardson served at the Defense Health Headquarters in Falls Church, Virginia representing the DLA Medical Logistics Supply Chain to the Military Health System in enterprise level strategic interagency initiatives involving the Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Management and Budget and the Department of Health and Human Services.

Ms. Richardson received a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Johns Hopkins University in 1990 and 1991, respectively. She is a member of the Army Acquisition Corps, and is Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level III certified in Program Management and Life Cycle Logistics; she is DAWIA Level II certified in Contracting. Ms. Richardson was awarded the US Army Commander’s Award for Civilian Service (2018 and 2016), the DLA Meritorious Civilian Service Award in 1998, one of the DLA Top 10 Outstanding Personnel of the Year awards in 2008, the DLA Troop Support Employee of the Year in 2010 and the DLA Superior Civilian Service Award in 2011.
