PD HR Solutions Hosts Industry Days

The Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS) Program Director for Human Resources Solutions and the Mission and Installation Contracting Command – Knox are conducting an Industry Day event at Fort Knox, Ky., Dec. 9-11. The Human Resources Solutions contracts discussed during this event will provide Department of Defense (DOD) organizations with qualified contractors to support human resources needs in four mission areas: Studies and Analysis (S&A); Management and Administrative Support (MA&S); Personnel Services Support (PSS); and Recruitment and Retention (R&R). Services shall be performed throughout the Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS) locations (i.e., Korea, Japan, Europe, and Puerto Rico). Biometric Data Analytics Symposium

COL Sandy Vann-Olejasz, Project Manager, DOD Biometrics, will speak at the symposium, whose theme this year is: "Biometrics - Big Data, Analytics and Biometric-Enabled Intelligence." The symposium features experts from the biometric, intelligence and corporate communities to discuss emerging technologies and initiatives in biometrics. Other speakers include Defense Forensics and Biometrics Agency and the Defense Intelligence Agency.

Mr. Douglas Wiltsie, PEO EIS, and Mr. Mike Krieger, CIO/G-6, will provide an update on Army Enterprise IT initiatives for Department of Defense and Army business and combat service support systems, as well as the Army's communications and computer infrastructure. The presentations will highlight the Army's role in the evolution of the Joint Information Environment (JIE), and will cover specific upcoming requirements from industry for near-term and mid-term support to create its next generation network infrastructure, services and applications.
