This is the site of the Assistant Project Manager, Land Mobile Radio (APM LMR). APM LMR manages the BRS contracts, a "family" of Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contracts. The contracts provide access for Federal Agencies to state-of-the-art commercial LMR products and services. Through the BRS contracts, Federal Agencies can do business with Motorola, E.F. Johnson, M/A-COM Inc., Engineered Systems Inc., and Booz Allen Hamilton. These five companies offer exceptional skill bases in manufacturing, R&D, system integration, business case analyses and life-cycle support.

BRS provides government agencies the ability to customize LMR solutions based on specific and/or unique needs while achieving cost effectiveness through leveraging competition among a selected group of vendors. The contracts provide cost effective turn-key LMR solutions encompassing engineering, integration, installation, training, logistics and life cycle sustainment. Systems which conform to standards of industry and the U.S. Government can be accommodated through the BRS contracts. Users can meet their own specific needs with a conventional or trunked system using Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) products.
