Product Manager, Power Projection Enablers: LTC Gregory Soulé

LTC Gregory Soulé

LTC Gregory S. Soulé assumed the leadership of Power Projection Enablers (P2E) as the Product Manager (PdM) in June 2015. P2E provides strategy and oversight and delivers capabilities supporting the full spectrum of network and information services for a globally connected Army. P2E enables Soldiers, commands and supporting organizations to access, process, and act upon information, anytime, anywhere.

LTC Soulé received his commission in May 1997 as an Infantry Officer. He served in the 173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team in Vicenza, Italy. LTC Soulé later deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom II in January 2004 with 1st Battalion, 5th Cavalry Regiment (1-5 CAV), 1st Cavalry Division at Fort Hood, Texas. There he commanded D Company, A Company, and Headquarters Company (HHC)/1-5 CAV. Upon deploying to Baghdad, Iraq, LTC Soulé led HHC during combat and contingency operations. Later he was assigned to the Division G-3 where he served as a G-3 Battle CPT coordinating combat and stability operations for 13 brigade-sized elements, and as the Assistant G-3. Upon returning from deployment, he was reassigned to James Madison University (JMU) Reserve Officers’ Training Corps. While at JMU, LTC Soulé and his brother, MAJ Jeff Soulé, placed 2nd in the Army’s Best Ranger Competition.

LTC Soulé then branched Acquisition and was assigned to the Program Executive Office (PEO) Intelligence, Electronic Warfare and Sensors (IEW&S) at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. He served as Assistant Product Manager (APM) for Machine Foreign Language Translation Systems. LTC Soulé was then assigned to PEO Soldier as APM for Ground Soldier. While at PEOs IEW&S and Soldier, he deployed numerous times to Iraq, Kuwait and Afghanistan in support of combat operations. LTC Soulé was then assigned to the Pentagon as a Department of the Army Systems Coordinator.

LTC Soulé earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania with a major in Finance. He also holds a Masters of Business Administration from JMU. He is a graduate of the Defense Acquisition University’s Program Manager’s Course, and is Level 3 certified in Program Management, and Level 2 in Information Systems Acquisition.

LTC Soule’s awards and decorations include the Bronze Star, the Meritorious Service Medal with four Oak Leaf Clusters, the Army Commendation Medal with four Oak Leaf Clusters, the Army Achievement Medal, the Combat Infantryman’s Badge, the Expert Infantryman’s Badge, the Basic Parachutist Badge, the Air Assault Badge, the Pathfinder Badge, the Ranger Tab, and the Army Staff Badge.
