Mr. Glenn Maravillas

As the Deputy Product Lead (PL) for the Army’s Distributed Learning System (DLS), Mr. Glenn Maravillas helps to manage the Army’s technology enterprise project for delivering and managing distributed learning to Soldiers and DA Civilians around the globe. Mr. Maravillas sets the strategic vision for the program and is responsible for ensuring DLS meets all cost, schedule and performance goals. Mr. Maravillas is tasked with overseeing the six components of the DLS program, which include Army e-Learning, Digital Training Facilities (DTFs), Mobile Digital Training Facilities (MDTFs), Army Learning Management System (ALMS), Enterprise Management Center (EMC), and Deployed Digital Training Campuses (DDTCs). Mr. Maravillas has purview over training delivery systems worldwide which provide education and training access to Soldiers, DA Civilians, units, and DoD organizations by using web-based and video tele-training capabilities.

Prior to his position as Deputy PL, Mr. Maravillas served as the DLS Operations and Sustainment Division (O&SD) Chief. As the O&SD Chief, Mr. Maravillas oversaw the ALMS Customer Service Center and was responsible for logistics/life cycle sustainment planning and policies for DDTC, and oversaw the planning for the relocation of DTFs affected by Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC).

Mr. Maravillas has over 36 years of military and civilian experience in acquisition, logistics, training, leadership and operations. He graduated from California State University, Sacramento with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and holds a Master’s Degree in Contract Management from Florida Institute of Technology. He is also a graduate of the Quartermaster Advance Course and the Army Command and General Staff College. Mr. Maravillas is Level 3 certified in Program Management.
