Mr. Brendan Burke was appointed the Product Manager for the Installation Information Infrastructure Modernization Program (I3MP) in October 2016.  In this capacity, Mr. Burke will enable information dominance for every Warfighter through information technology infrastructure modernization, and life cycle management of the Army’s CONUS Installation Campus Area Networks and Command Centers.

Prior to his selection Mr. Burke was the Product Director for General Funds Enterprise Business System Increment II (GFEBS INCII), responsible for establishing a team supporting the Army Acquisition Executive’s Material Development Decision of a Defense Business System.  GFEBS INCII provides hardware and software capabilities to accommodate emerging requirements for Army Standard Labor Time Tracking and Integrated Resource Management.  These requirements not only provide additional capability, but contribute to improving automated integration of financial data, enhancing business process efficiencies, increasing interoperability, and maintaining auditability.

Mr. Burke also previously served as the Project Director Computer Hardware Enterprise Software and Solutions (CHESS) with responsibility for providing a flexible procurement strategy through which Army users procure IT hardware, software, and services via IT e-mart, the Army’s e-commerce site.  Additional assignments at CHESS included the Deputy Project Director and Software Product Leader.  Mr. Burke began his civil service career as a Contracting Officer with U.S. Army CECOM Life Cycle Management Command (CECOM LCMC).  Prior to civil service Mr. Burke was a Commissioned Officer in the U.S. Air Force, serving in various positions within the contracting field. 

Mr. Burke holds a M.S. in National Resource Strategy from The Dwight D. Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Management; a M.A. in Economics from the University of New Hampshire, and a B.S in Operations Research and Economics from the United States Air Force Academy.  He is a recipient of the Superior Civilian Service Award and has twice been awarded the Commander’s Award for Civilian Service.  Mr. Burke is a member of the Army Acquisition Corps with Level III certification in both Program Management and Contracting.
